1. Summary
Kryvex is designed to work without creating an account. Your specimen library, photos, lore tags, cleanse logs, Circle posts, and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not operate a Kryvex user cloud that syncs or hosts your cabinet.

2. Data stored on your device
Depending on how you use the app, Kryvex may store on-device:
- Specimen records (name, variety, source/origin, notes, facet angle, cleanse cycle)
- Photos and optional cleanse voice clips you add
- Lore tags, display plans, wishlist items, and variety notes
- Local Circle posts, drafts, likes, saves, mute/block, and reports you create
- Reminder settings and coin balance / purchase honor records
- Keeper profile display name and optional avatar
This data remains in the app’s sandbox (including media under the app Documents area) until you delete it in-app (for example Clear All Data) or remove Kryvex from the device.
3. Device permissions
Kryvex may ask for the following. You can deny any permission and continue using other features.
- Camera — photograph specimens for your cabinet.
- Photo Library (read) — import specimen or avatar photos.
- Photo Library (add) — save exported Collection Plates, HD cards, albums, or compare sheets.
- Microphone — optional voice notes on cleanse logs.
- Notifications — optional cleanse-due reminders (local notifications only).
Permission prompts use the system dialogs. You can change access later in iOS Settings → Kryvex.
4. Purchases (Kryvex Coins)
Kryvex Coins are consumable in-app credits used for optional exports (for example Collection Plate PDF and HD Specimen Cards). Purchases are processed by Apple. Apple may collect payment information under Apple’s own privacy policy. Kryvex stores a local coin balance and purchase honor markers on device to prevent double-crediting.
Coins are not real-world currency, have no cash value outside the app, and are not transferable.
5. Tracking & App Tracking Transparency
Kryvex may present Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Declining does not lock core cabinet features. Kryvex does not require a Kryvex login and does not sell your specimen library.
If third-party frameworks (for example Apple frameworks related to ads measurement) process identifiers, that processing follows Apple’s rules and your ATT choice.
6. Children
Kryvex is not directed at children under 13. Do not provide personal information of children through the app. If you believe a child has provided data on a shared device, clear the app data or uninstall Kryvex.
7. Your choices
- Edit or delete specimens, tags, posts, and media inside the app.
- Turn off cleanse reminders in Keeper → Cleanse Reminders.
- Use Clear All Data in Keeper to reset local content (coins reset to the welcome amount).
- Uninstall Kryvex to remove remaining local app data from the device.
- Manage Camera, Photos, Microphone, Notifications, and Tracking in iOS Settings.
