- Open Kryvex — no sign-in.
- Add a specimen with photo, variety, and source.
- Use the Facet Light Wheel to mark display orientation.
- Set a Cleanse Cycle Ring and log rituals when you care for a piece.
- Optional: publish from your cabinet to the local Circle feed.
2. Feature guide
Cabinet
Hex honeycomb of your specimens. Search, filter, manage, compare, wishlist, sources, and export tools live here.
Cleanse
Track due pieces, log a cleanse with ritual tags, optional voice clips, and enable alerts.
Lore
Personal culture tags for specimens — not medical or appraisal claims. Variety Notes hold longer care tips.
Keeper
Profile, Wallet, Cleanse Reminders, Privacy, Support, and Clear All Data.
3. Kryvex Coins
New installs receive a welcome coin balance. Coins are spent for optional exports such as Collection Plate PDF and HD Specimen Cards. Buy more packs in Keeper → Wallet.
- Coins are consumable digital credits processed by Apple In-App Purchase.
- They have no cash value outside Kryvex and are non-transferable.
- If a purchase fails to credit, try again on a network connection, then contact us with the approximate time and product.
- Clear All Data resets local content and restores the welcome coin amount.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies.
4. Cleanse reminders
Reminders are local notifications for cleanse-due dates — not a daily newsletter. Turn them on from Cleanse or Keeper → Cleanse Reminders. Choose alert time and optional “days early” per specimen. You can disable them anytime in Kryvex or in iOS Settings → Notifications.
5. Circle
Circle is a local community layer: demo posts plus posts you publish from your cabinet. You can like, save, mute posts, block authors, and report content. Mute and block can be undone in Moderation; reports are kept for your records and cannot be undone in-app.
6. Terms of use
License
Kryvex grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the App Store terms and these terms.
Acceptable use
- Use Kryvex for personal collection, display, and care journaling.
- Do not use the app to make medical, therapeutic, or investment claims about minerals.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse purchases, or interfere with the app’s normal operation.
Content you create
You retain ownership of photos and notes you add. Local Circle content stays on your device unless you export or share it yourself.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is.” Facet angles, cleanse rituals, lore tags, and demo content are for personal organization and enjoyment. We do not warrant mineral authenticity, value, or health outcomes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kryvex and its publishers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including loss of local data. Keep backups of important photos outside the app if needed.
Changes
We may update these terms when features change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
